Keyon “Homixide Beno!” Thomas and Demetrius “Homixide Meechie” Chatman, professionally known as Homixide Gang (sometimes shorten to HXG), are a rap duo from Atlanta, Georgia.

Homixide Gang are known to be very secretive in their lives, but Meechie has confirmed that the more that they transition their careers, the more they would open up about their lives. Despite this, the duo have appeared in interviews where they briefly talked about their come up.

In an interview with Our Generation Music, the duo confirmed that they met during a school basketball game as kids. Before they became artists, the duo would constantly hang out. Music became a part of their lives when they saw their close friends such as the late R5 Homixide and Problem Child 5 rap. They would officially begin making music back in 2020 due to their undisclosed situations they were in at the time.

In 2021, the duo signed to fellow Atlanta native Playboi Carti’s record label, Opium, after the duo would link up with Carti at the studio with Problem Child. The duo explained that after they played “SSN” to Carti, he ended up calling the duo “superstars,” which ultimately earned them the deal.

On May 5, 2021, Homixide Gang would release their debut EP, Snotty World, with a deluxe edition being released in August of that same year. Quickly, the duo would gain attraction, with their breakout single “5unna” blowing up on social media. The duo was planned to release Snotty Hill with the late producer D. Hill in November 2021 as their debut studio album, but was ultimately scrapped for unknown reasons.

Homixide Gang would then release their debut studio album Homixide Lifestyle on November 22, 2022, becoming an immediate success. Their sophomore album, Snot or Not was released on April 27, 2023, meeting similar success. The duo would then release their debut mixtape 5TH AMNDMNT on October 27, 2023.

After had gaining attraction from fans on social media, the duo earned a record deal with Interscope Records, which was revealed through the release of the single “HI-VOLTAGE.” Then on May 31, 2024, the duo would release their third studio album, i5u5we5. A year later, Homixide Gang would release Homixide Lifestyle 2, the sequel to their debut album on August 1, 2025
