“this is what falling in love feels like” is the lead single to JVKE’s debut studio album, this is what ____ feels like (Vol. 1-4). The song starts the “falling in love” section of the album.
The track was first shared on JVKE’s Twitch channel when creating the song on his livestream.
A few days after starting the song on stream, JVKE shared the audio on his TikTok receiving over 2 million views on both the original snippet and 4D audio. On August 18, 2021, JVKE finished the song on his Twitch stream.
Since the release, JVKE has received over 20 million views on his TikTok using the song featuring him and his mom. “this is what falling in love feels like” was also included in a Samsung commercial for their Galaxy Z Flip3 Bespoke Edition.
“this is what falling in love feels like” was certified gold by the RIAA on October 11, 2022. It debuted at #39 on the Billboard Pop Airplay for the chart week of June 4, 2022.
