Biography
ivri is a singer, songwriter, and producer based in Brooklyn, New York. Her music blends lo-fi, dream pop, indie rock, and psychedelia, characterized by soft vocals and introspective lyrics. She first gained attention by anonymously posting her songs on Instagram, where they were widely sampled in the lo-fi community and racked up millions of streams.
In 2020, ivri began releasing original music, starting with the single “Glow Worms”, which became a streaming success. Her debut EP, the star factory (2023), marked a shift from lo-fi aesthetics to a more ethereal and distorted indie rock sound. ivri is known for creating melancholic, intimate soundscapes that explore themes like isolation, perception, and identity.
